Aunt Nett's Visit

So I had a genius idea to bring back Aunt Nett with us from San Antonio and boy did it pay off!  She got up for the night feeding with Sabrina all three nights (the first of which Sabrina slept until 8:15!!).  I actually got 9 hours of continuous sleep which was something I thought would never happen again.  Sabrina was so happy and loves all of Aunt Nett's attention.  She even helped me get furniture for Sabrina's room.  All in all it was a great week.

Sabrina's First Date

Last week Jara and I took Sabrina and Rhett to the arboreatum for a supervised first date.  We had a great time and Rhett chilled the entire time.  Sabrina needed a little more attention but ate and took a nap out on the grassy knoll overlooking the lake.  What a difference 3 weeks makes!  Rhett is 12 weeks in the pictures and Sabrina is 9. They really couldn't be more different which made Jara and I both laugh. 

Sabrina's Baptism Weekend

We all packed up the car and headed down to San Antonio for a road trip to go to baby Serena's shower and also for Sabrina's baptism.  Jake and I got a night out for dinner and drinks with the DelGreco's (thanks Nana and Tony)!  We had so much fun with everyone and her baptism went off without a hitch, which is slightly our own little miracle.  Below are some pictures from the weekend.

2 Month Check Up

Sabrina had her 2 month check up and got her first round of shots today.  She weighed in at 10lbs 6ozs (50%) and 22 inches (45%).  She did really good!  She had a bath last night to get ready for the big appointment.

Happy Birthday Nana and Lala!

Sabrina wanted to give a quick Happy Birthday shout out to Nana and Lala (the big 30!).  Hope you both had great weekends.

More Visitors...

Rachel came in from Houston for the St. Paddy's festivities this weekend and came by to meet Miss Sabrina.  She brought Sabrina the cutest little Mexican dress and I can't wait until she fits in it!  Also, Shala came to visit and brought the real important stuff...the wine.  I got to have a glass of wine and catch up on the gossip, it was great!  Thanks girls. 

Why I love Baby Einstein!

Sabrina has recently started watching Baby Einstein and she loves it.  We are watching the 3 month video of Mozart music and it gives mom about 30 minutes of silence!

Nana and Tony's Visit

My mom and Tony came to stay this weekend so Jake could enjoy some manly time at the hunting lease.  We had a great time and I got to catch up on some much needed chores and enjoy drinks with Aunt Tami on Saturday.  It was awesome!!

We went to the Arboretum for Dallas Blooms to enjoy the view and Sabrina loved being carried in the Bjorn and basically crashed the whole time.  Guess where I am going on walks this week :)

7 Weeks Old

It is hard to believe that Sabrina turned 7 weeks old on Tuesday.  She is eating more and giving us much more of her strong personality.  She loves the mornings and smiles while we change her on the changing table.  She holds her head up strong and is always moving her arms around in expression.  She is liking her swing again and loves playtime on the activity mat where she will grab and hit the toys.  Yesterday she grabbed for my face and held on tight!
