Dallas Zoo Trip

Sabrina just went in for her 2 year check up and we got her stats back:  Weight 25lbs (30% percentile), Height 35 inches (85% percentile).  Given Jake and I aren't exactly tall models these stats could just be a phase :).  She has started a gymnastics class and LOVES the trampoline and the pit swing.  She is talking up a storm and letting us know how she feels about everything...some things never change.  We decided to enjoy the 65 degree weather yesterday and headed to the Dallas zoo.  It was a great time and all the animals were performing for us.  The Lions were out and roaring, which has many of the kiddos crying but not Sabrina she was laughing and running toward their cages.  All in all it was a very fun day.

Sabrina loved seeing the penguins and they were right in our faces.

 

This guy jumped off and swam for us, which of course then Sabrina kept wanting the others to "jump" on command and she was unimpressed when they wouldn't.

Sabrina loved to touch the baby gorilla on his back.

This was the first time we have actually gotten a look at the gorilla's and they were both out and posing for us today!

22 Months Old and still going...

Our little girl is growing up so fast!  We had these pictures done and realized once we saw them what a big girl she is.  22 months and 23 lbs.  New favorite movie is the Chipmunks Chip Wrecked and she is big time into dancing and singing her ABC's.  She is talking up a storm and  making us laugh.

Happy Halloween!!

We decided to join the fun and went trick or treating to a few neighbor's houses.  Then we handed out candy to everyone that came by.  She loved it and the twix that I let her have!!

What's to come...

Sabrina has recently been hanging out in the guest room listening to the radio and talking on her phone by herself.  Is this girl 2 or 12?

TX v OU Weekend

The Trevino's came to town for the game and some family time and nana and pops came to visit too.  We had a great time at the fair on Friday and Saturday at the zoo. Sabrina loved having a playmate around for the weekend and it was great to see Willie T!!

Fun in Austin

We headed to Austin for the weekend so that we could catch up with the Vanderslice's and let Sabrina and Molly get some play time in.  We had a great weekend and loved going to the park and Barton Springs on Saturday and out on the town for dinner and drinks sans kids on Saturday night.
